About 2048
2048 is a single-player sliding block puzzle game designed by Italian web developer Gabriele Cirulli. The game's objective is to slide numbered tiles on a grid to combine them and create a tile with the number 2048.
Players can slide all tiles in four directions: up, down, left, and right. After each move, a new tile randomly appears in an empty spot on the board with a value of either 2 or 4. When two tiles with the same number touch, they merge into one tile with the sum of their values.
The game is won when a tile with the value 2048 appears on the board. Players can continue beyond this to reach higher scores. The game is lost when the board is full and no more moves can be made.
How to Play
Use your arrow keys, WASD keys, or swipe on mobile to move the tiles. When two tiles with the same number touch, they merge into one!
